Highjacking Suspected
My metamark URL appears highjacked. This is the one I created:
http://xrl.us/BolivianCuppingNotes
As you can see, it is supposed to direct to the Cup of Excellence board. http://www.cupofexcellence.org/Countr...
Instead, it is now redirecting to some image I have never seen nor visited before.
What has happened?

Aye Caramba!
Ok, now it's really really fixed.
So sorry. This is by far the worst problem we've ever had with the service. :-(
I rolled out a new version of the software yesterday and it had a "subtle" bug where it'd end up sharing the database connections between different requests in a way that'd make it seem like you just got a random URL. It only happened in the production environment, sadly. :-(
I use Jabber/GTalk - my ID is ask@plys.net. Feel free to alert me there if there are still problems or if new problems come up.

Inappropriate?I'm having the same problem... All of my metamark links are going to other places. I think the problem lies with metamark itself, there's probably something going on with the database...
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?seems to be all of admins in vacation, problem not resolved jet
I’m very disappointed

Inappropriate?I have just swtiched over to another redirecting system that also permits entering a name into the file. It is too bad, I have used metamark.net for years.
There are too many options out there to bother with it. I am just concerned for all those I have posted elsewhere, all redirecting to heaven's knows where.

I’m using another URL redirection service

Inappropriate?Yes, I have this problem too. My metamark URLs are all being routed to YouTube that shows a video advertisement for Simpsons TV show.
Last night, my metamark URLs were being routed to a company that was advertising to do online surveys; for a while, the survey company showed only Chinese text; then, this morning, the webpage showed English text.
Can the problem be fixed? Thank.
Jeff
I’m anxious.

Inappropriate? The same for me here : I had links to pictures that became strange links including a site with "mature" content O_o" As I use it in a website PG-13 rated, it may have been a problem. Hopefully, this url was between [img] tags so no one really knows but well...
I’m confused

Inappropriate?12 hours ago Ask said he had it solved, but it's not, so I guess he's still working on it. I run a newsletter that has over 100 shortened URLs in it in each issues. I'm bracing myself for the complaints that I am about to get from subscribers.
